Sham Donation Causes

I was having dinner recently when I noticed a lot of people walking around trying to collect donations for all kinds of stuff. One of them approached me and claimed to be asking for donations to help cerebral palsy victims. I’m usually quite generous but this particular person didn’t seem very well-informed about the cause they were collecting for and neither did their receipts and information. Later I found out from the shop owner that there are a lot of scam and bogus people out there who are trying to make a quick buck by collecting donations for a sham cause. It’s terrible how some make money at the misfortune of others!
