I'm BACK!
- Well-rested - YES
- Massaged and limbered - YES
- Dived and saw an almost pelagic - YES
- Ate, ate, ate - YES
- Well-tanned - NO!
Well, just one word - RAIN! Yes, dearies! It poured, thundered, dripped and flooded for a good 4 out of 5 days I was there! Kiss the beach and sunshine goodbye! Hello umbrellas, foggy grey weather, huge black clouds and cold cold rain! Sigh...monsoon came early and it had to come right on my holiday! Not even my last hol there last Sept during the "real" monsoon season was this bad!
Nonetheless, I still had great fun! There's something about grey rainy weather that makes warm sheets, cold air-cond and cable TV so inviting and cold luscious ice-cream to sit out the rain or a steaming hot bowl of noodle soup to chase the chill away! So, please bear with me while I sort out the photos and put up my Phuket tips! I'll be also doing my Phuket food recommendations sporadically so stay tuned!

See? If you had been so well prepared (meaning lots kgs, and got all ship shape, and ready for tanning), you would have been so disappointed by the weather.. As it turned out, it sounds like you had a whale of a time pigging out instead! I wish I was there. Welcome back!!
