A friend’s baby is due in only a few more months. I was talking to her recently and she was lamenting the high cost of having a child in these days. Not only do they have to consider diaper and powdered milk cost but also the cost of his education in the future and insurances. She was recently looking at child insurance packages and was shocked to see how expensive some options can be. She told me to think very carefully before I have a child in the future otherwise I’ll have to be prepared to forgo some shopping and fun for myself!
