Funky Ringtones
A friend of mine followed her husband to Brasil for work and she was happy to see that the mobile phone technology there was just as good as it was here, which meant she had no trouble keeping in touch with her family and friends here. What she was amazed by, though, was their wide variety of ringtones available. She loved how the toques (Ringtones) in Brasil were so much funkier and more up to date.
She told me that there was rather fierce competition between their cellular (cell phone) providers which comprised of 4 main providers – Vivo, Oi, Tim and Dada.net. In a country where the people love music, singing and dancing, one of the competitive strategies the cellular companies use is their ring tones. So far, she says she loves the ringtones from Dada.net best as it’s really nice. An avid football fan, she loves their other features such as screensavers and wallpapers where she can download her favourite Brasil football stars! She gets all her favourite ringtones off the net from Dada.net Toques - VIVO Tim Oi. Well, at least she’s one happy camper there!

It is always surprising to see how little Americans know about the rest of the world.. You probably thought we didn't even have telephones up on our trees right? Let alone mobile phones. Stupid. Learn more about the world around you!
